Application for Membership
R.O.C.K Missions’ Board of Directors is looking to attract new board members who align with the vision of this organization.
At R.O.C.K Missions we share a common vision – a ‘whole person’ approach to making a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable, meeting people where they are at in order to provide basic needs, harm reduction supplies, as well as bridge supports to mental wellness and addiction programs.
Our mission is to close the gaps within our community by partnering people through leadership, advocacy, mentorship and generosity.
Eligibility Requirements:

Demonstrate a willingness to learn, understand and embody the mission, vision and core values of R.O.C.K. Missions

Demonstrate personal integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of those experiencing homelessness
-
Ability and commitment to be a team participant

Compliance with conflict of interest guidelines as outlined in the By-laws
-
A resident of the Chatham-Kent area
Significant practical experience in area(s) that would further the work and function of the Organization including employment or volunteer work in:

fundraising, planning, administration,
-
finance, legal, health care,
-
marketing, communications and public relations,
-
community and diversity development
Previous experience on a board or committee is desirable, but not necessary, however a willingness to learn and to serve in a collaborative way is key.
